Roddy Wildeman

Roddy Wildeman is an American artist based out of Asbury Park NJ and Yonkers NY. Wildeman is also the Co-Owner and Director of Urban Studio Unbound Gallery in Yonkers, NY.

Wildeman creates intarsia like wall sculptures out of discarded building materials, metal, and furniture, transforming them into works of art that tell the stories of people and times. Through this approach to working with materials that have sentimental value,  he creates pieces that connect  intimately with the past. In his current series he explores op-art type designs that play with visual motion and movement. Wildeman works are collected internationally and have exhibited his works at prestigious institutions such as the John Peto Museum, Monmouth Museum, and the Noyes Museum. His artwork has been published in leading magazines, featured at TEDx events, and has appeared on national news syndications.
